Where to buy Chemicals

The following list of chemicals are ones that you can easily find or purchase with no questions asked depending on how old you are really. I used to have problems when i purchased chemicals because i looked so young for my age i was refused a few things most likely because they though i was a 12 year old wanting corrosive HCl instead i was a 17 year old but still refused, so depending what you buy you should have no trouble

== Inorganic Chemicals ==
  • Ammonium Hydroxide - Commonly found as cloudy ammonia or liquid ammonia
  • Ammonium Nitrate - Commonly found in cold packs
  • Ammonium Sulfate - Commonly found as a fertilizer
  • Barium Carbonate - Found in ceramic stores
  • Bismuth - Found in "New Age" stores which sell rocks and minerals.
  • Boric Acid - Found as roach killer.
  • Boron - Element inside Neodymium Rare earth magnets
  • Cadmium(II) Sulfide - Found in pigment paint under the name of Cadmium Yellow
  • Calcium Carbonate - Sea Shells, Egg Shells, and often as a Fertilizer or Limestone
  • Calcium Chloride - Found in the pool section or a drying agent
  • Calcium Hypochlorite - Found in pool section for a source of chlorine
  • Calcium Fluoride - Found as a mineral under the name Fluorite
  • Calcium Nitrate - Found as a nitrate fertilizer with no potassium in a hardware store
  • Calcium Sulfate - Found as Plaster of Paris in a hardware store
  • Carbon - Found as Graphite, Diamonds, Coal
  • Cobalt - Found inside Cobalt Battery's
  • Cobalt(II) Carbonate - Found in ceramic store
  • Cobalt(II) Oxide - Found in ceramic store
  • Copper - Electronic cables
  • Copper(II) Sulfate - Found as a Herbicide, fungicide and pesticide
  • Chromium(III) Oxide - Found as a Pigment paint under the name of Viridian
  • Hydrochloric Acid - Found as Muriatic acid for a pool
  • Hydrofluoric Acid - Found as a rust remover acid. commonly found in 3% solution. Not easy to find.
  • Iodine - Found in Tincture of iodine and Povidone Iodine
  • Iron - Found as steel wool or iron tools (steel wool contains Carbon and tools may contain Chromium)
  • Lithium - Found in Lithium Ion Battery's
  • Lithium Carbonate - Found in Ceramic Stores
  • Magnesium - Found as a fire starter for camping
  • Magnesium Nitrate - Found as a Fertilizer in a hardware store
  • Magnesium Sulfate - Found as Epson Salt in a grocery store
  • Manganese(IV) Oxide - Found in Lantern Battery, often impure with a lot of iron.
  • Mercury - Found in some Thermometers. Not all contain Mercury anymore
  • Neodymium - As a rare earth magnet. Often called Neo Magnets
  • Phosphoric Acid - As a cleaning acid or as 85% acid as pH down
  • Potassium Chloride - Found in grocery store as a substitute salt
  • Potassium Hydroxide - Found as pH up in Hardware store
  • Potassium Iodide - Found as Radiation tablets or in Tincture of Iodine
  • Potassium Nitrate - Found in fertilizers under the name of Nitrate of Potash (not found in all Countrys)
  • Potassium Permanganate - Found as a Disinfectant for first aid kits
  • Potassium Sulfate - found as a fertilizer, often called Sulphate of Potash
  • Silver - found in jewelry or as edible silver in some country's
  • Silver Bromide - Found on unused Black and White Film
  • Sodium Acetate - Found in hand warmers
  • Sodium Bicarbonate - Found in grocery store under the name of Baking Soda (Not Baking Powder)
  • Sodium Bromide - Found in pool section used for spa use
  • Sodium Chlorate - Sometimes found as weed killer (not found in all country's) in hardware store
  • Sodium Chloride - Found as table salt
  • Sodium Hydroxide - Drain cleaner in a grocery store in the cleaning section
  • Sodium Hypochlorite - Commonly known as ~5% bleach in a grocery store
  • Sodium Iodide - Small amounts in Tincture of Iodine
  • Sodium Nitrate - Some nitrate fertilizers in some country's
  • Sodium Tetraborate - found as borax as a deoderent
  • Sodium Thiosulfate - Found as a Hypo Solution for Photo development or in a pool section
  • Strontium Carbonate - Found in ceramic Stores
  • Sulfur - Often called Flowers of Sulfur, Found in the gardening section
  • Sulfuric Acid - Commonly found as drain cleaner in some country's and as battery acid
  • Tin
  • Titanium Dioxide - Found as whtie pigment for painting
  • Zinc - Found in Lantern Battery's
  • Zinc Oxide - Found as pigment paints commonly known as Chinese White

    • 1,4-Dichlorobenzene - Found as a substitute for Naphthalene Moth Balls
    • Acetic Acid - Low % as vinegar, Higher % as cleaning Vinegar
    • Dichloromethane - As Paint Stripper needs to be distilled for a pure product
    • Camphor - Found as poison for pest control
    • Citric Acid - Found in grocery store for cooking
    • Ethanol - Found as High Concentration Alcohol
    • Naphthalene - Often reasonable pure in Mothballs (can be purified by dissolving in Acetone and evaporating)
    • Oxalic Acid - Found as a rust remover in hardware stores as a white powder
    • Phenolphthalein - pH indicator pools
    • Tartaric Acid - Found in grocery store used for cooking
    • Toluene - found as Paint stripper in some country's
    • Urea - Found in Instant cold packs instead of Ammonium Nitrate
